FALCOM Sukuk Fund
Sukuk are negotiable certificates with equivalent value that represent undivided common ownership in an underlying asset, usufruct, concession, financial liabilities or an asset of certain project that comply with Sharia guidelines. Sukuk is a certificate of financial obligation. It is a tradable certificate that offers a predictable return at relatively low risk, a risk which is corresponding with the credit rating of the Sukuk issuer. This Fund offers investors the opportunity to invest with steady capital appreciation and relatively high degree of capital preservation of their investments. To achieve the Fund's objectives, the Fund Manager invests in medium to long-term sukuk investments. The Fund provides investors with a Sharia-compliant investment solution that generates competitive market returns from medium to long-term sukuk investments with a relatively high degree of capital preservation and competitive returns. The Fund invests in high-quality sukuks issued by governments and corporations in Saudi Arabia. The Fund also invests in Sukuks outside of Saudi Arabia in currencies other than the Saudi Riyal. The Fund seeks to provide Sharia compliant investment solutions that can generate competitive returns, to potential investors, by investing in medium to long term Sukuk certificates with relative high degree of capital preservation and competitive returns, either in the Saudi market or regional markets. The Fund Manager will also endeavor to buy and sell Sharia compliant long term Sukuk issued by high net worth institutions that enjoy high ratings from reputable rating institutions.
